NSW Govt prepares for the implementation of the GSE Act

The NSW Government's new GSE Act, and subsequent Regulation and Rules represent the most substantial change in the public sector workforce in NSW in 12 years. Whilst there is still some areas of uncertainty, the changes will have broad reaching implications across strategic management, workforce planning and performance management.
The changes will also have broad impacts on the recruitment and selection of employees, requiring a new level of rigour and accountability whilst allowing greater flexibility in the recruitment process. Changes include the incorporation of the NSW Government Capability Framework into the assessment process as well as substantial procedural change at all stages of the selection process.

PTS launches new solution in response to the GSE Act.

PTS has launched a range of new recruitment products specifically designed to satisfy the requirements of the Government Sector Employment Act Rules.
The new services will include full service recruitment as well as a range of psychometric and skills based assessments which have been tailored to assess candidate performance in line with the NSW Government Capability Framework.
Whilst we expect the changes to be implemented slightly differently across agencies, statutory authorities & state owned corporations, our services will make it easy for our clients to clearly evaluate applicant performance and to incorporate the assessment process into future performance management systems and processes whilst minimising cost and time.
